The "Sweet Dreams" mouse wood sculpture is a new addition to my new series of carvings of mice in theme settings. The "Sweet Dreams" mouse is carved from basswood and is hand painted in acrylic paints. The whiskers are fishing line glued in place and trimmed to length. The base is a sassafras log with a natural indentation formed by the loss of a branch. The mouse is sleeping on a bed of roughed up cedar bark fibers.
It measures 9" x 5" x 3.5"
