The "Mouse and Block of Cheese" wood sculpture is the first in my new series of carvings of mice in theme settings. The mouse and cheese are carved from basswood and is hand painted in acrylic paints. The whiskers are fishing line glued in place and trimmed to length. The base is a split walnut branch.
