The "Worried Man" wood sculpture is part of my "If Only They Could Speak" mature people face collection. The image of the man I referenced for this carving had a look of concern but ready to give sound advice about his knowledge of life.
Each piece in this collection is made from a black walnut tree log. The logs come from pruned branches of an existing 110+ year old tree in the state of Michigan. The variation in tones of the wood as the piece is carved add to the overall effect of the sculpture. The piece is mounted to a block of zebra wood and would look great on any fireplace mantel or bookshelf.
It measures 6" x 4.75" x 17.25". Finished in Danish oil and a paste wax topcoat.
